轉臺式拋丸機主要適合中小型工件的表面清理的生產，這規格的設備適合于發動機連桿，齒輪，膜片彈簧等，廣泛應用于鑄造和汽車制造業，具有生產效率高，密封效果好，結構緊湊，裝卸件方便技術含量高等特點。為保證清理效果、提高生產率，在本機的設計中，采用直聯曲線葉片拋頭，而且在原有設計的基礎上重新調整了拋頭位置，首先拋頭與水平垂直有一定夾角，以利于工件內腔的清理；其次轉臺支承完全改觀，便于維修、裝卸。
轉臺式拋丸機的特點：
(1)轉臺式拋丸機主要由室體、轉臺、傳動系統、分離器、提升機、輸丸裝置、拋丸器等部分組成，在室頂一臺高速旋轉的拋丸器，對工件進行佳方位的拋射，工件隨著轉臺轉出室體時，可直接看到清理效果，以便進行下一步工作。
(2)通過傳動系統帶動刮丸板回轉，將丸砂通過流丸管送到提升機下部，再由提升機提到分離器進行分離，完好的彈丸通過輸丸管及閘門供拋丸器連續使用，破碎彈丸及灰塵再分別進入其它相應管道，以進行二次分離。
(3)傳動機構由擺線針輪減速器帶動磨擦輪，通過一個離合機構與轉臺發生磨擦傳動，使轉臺平穩轉動。當工件轉出室外可用于直接翻動調整及被清理好的工件；也可隨時根據被清理工件的不同和裝卸翻動工件的難易程度，來扳動離合手柄，使磨擦輪和轉臺脫離，即轉臺停轉調好工件再改變手柄位置，轉臺再開始轉動。
